The Format For The Day

Each ride day is conveniently arranged into two sessions, morning and afternoon, allowing even busy people to experience hot laps around Sydney's racetracks.

Each session starts with a briefing in the pit lane, introducing the technical specifications of the V8 Supercar. We then explain the safety aspects pertaining to the ride and you get to try on our custom overalls and helmets. Once you're suited up ready for your ride, we take photographs of you with your driver and the car and another photo when you're strapped in and ready to go. Then the engine is fired up and the experience of 600 horsepower acceleration kicks in! The awesome braking and cornering of the V8 Supercar usually comes as huge surprise, as there is nothing in normal driving experience that can prepare you for the abilities of a pure-bred race car.

We welcome spectators, so be sure to invite your friends along to share in your excitement.

Lunch is provided for both sessions, and is included in the price for the ride participants. Lunch is a selection of gourmet sandwiches, cakes, drinks and fruit platters. Extra lunches may be pre-booked at a nominal cost.

Frequently Asked Questions

How fast will we go?

With a car capable of almost 300km/h, on the Oran Park South circuit, you will hit around 230km/h down the front straight in 6th gear.

How many revs does the car do?

V8 Supercars are limited to 7,500 rpm under acceleration (in accordance with the regulations) but on downchanges can reach 9,000 rpm or more!

What if it rains?

We run hot laps in all weather conditions. If the track is wet, we use special wet weather tyres that still generate incredible grip..

How many cars are on the track at the same time?

We often run two, three or four Supercars at the same time.

How long is the ride?

5 laps of Oran Park South circuit is 10 kilometres, plus a slowdown lap to let both your pulse and the car cool down a bit!

Can I have a drive?

We sometimes get asked this, but the answer is always the same. Sorry, no. Firstly, you'll need an international CAMS licence like our professional drivers. Secondly, the risk of damage to you, other members of the public, us, not to mention the car's very expensive drive-train, clutch and engine - is far too great.
