In the last few years many companies have claimed YOU can drive a V8 Supercar. This fact is wrong!

I receive many calls saying "I've seen a TV or newspaper advertising about driving a supercar" that will allow me on a racetrack with no restriction on Revs or Speed with my reply; that this type of advertising is misleading & false!

The facts are, real V8 Supercars are very fast and very powerful and without lots of experience you could seriously hurt yourself! So far there is no team or business in Australia that allow the public to Drive a V8 Supercar.

The only types of cars you can "Drive Yourself " have been designed around the "production based" Holden Commodore SS or Ford XR8.

As a example
A Real V8 Supercar has 600 + HP with a racing 6 speed "Holinger gearbox " (no syncromesh) they have racing suspension and brakes with slick tires.

The engine costs $75,000
clutch costs $10,000
gearbox cost $20,000

+ all the other cost that exceed over $200,000 per car.

Please be advised that if you have a V8 Ford or Holden
(or any performance car) and you wish to drive yourself on a racetrack, then Oran Park Raceway, Eastern Creek Raceway & Wakefield Park (near Goulburn) have days called " No Speed Limit days " this can cost between $100 - $200 for an ALL day experience (not a 5 laps cruise)
