a row the Aussies have won the A1 Class in the TOYO TIRES Dubai
24hr endurance race at the F1 Dubai Autodrome
The team was led by V8 Supercar
privateer Mal Rose with all 3 Mitsubishi
Cup Race cars finishing the grueling event on Jan 12 /
13 2007
The winning class Mitsubishi was
driven by Mal Rose , Peter Leemhuis & Tony Alford
in the pink Donut King car with 482 laps completed. ( 34th outright
)
Third in class was newcomers to Endurance
24hr racing Paul Stubber , Ray Stubber & Ron Moller all from
WA with 456 laps completed ( 42nd outright )
The teams 3rd car finished 4th in Class driven
by Richard Gartner, Kevin Burton & Adam Wallis. ( Note: Kevin
& Adam are Mals V8 Supercar co drivers ) with 391 laps completed.

The Mitsubishi Team Mirage also
picked up the Inaugural TOYO TIRES teams trophy
for the highest placed TOYO tyres equipped car.
Mals cars were 1st , 2nd.& 6th highest cars home
( Note: almost 25% of the teams ran Toyo Tyres.)
The outright race winner was again the Duller
Motorsport BMW Z4 Coupe with 567 laps in the 24hrs .
The event was supported from 16 different
nations from all over the world.
This now make Team Mirage Australia one of
the most successful 24 endurance teams with a 100% finish record
!
The cars have now finished the Bathurst 24hr
twice , Nurburgring 24hr 3 times, Sepang 12hr once & Dubai 24hr
twice.
